Last updated: May 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of cybersecurity assessment services provided by Sentinel Check. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of Service
Sentinel Check provides cybersecurity assessments and recommendations designed to identify common risks and improve security posture for UK small businesses, sole traders, and charities.
2. No Guarantee of Security
Cybersecurity assessments reduce risk but do not guarantee the prevention of all security incidents, breaches, or attacks. No security solution can provide absolute protection.
3. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
- Implementing the recommendations provided in assessment reports
- Maintaining their systems and security controls
- Acting promptly on identified risks
4. Scope of Work
Services are limited to the agreed scope of each engagement. Findings are based on the access and information available at the time of assessment and may not reflect all vulnerabilities present.
5. Limitation of Liability
Sentinel Check shall not be liable for:
- Security incidents occurring before or after the assessment period
- Losses resulting from recommendations that were not implemented
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind
6. Use of Reports
Assessment reports are provided for internal business use only. They should not be relied upon as legal, financial, or compliance certification and must not be shared publicly without written agreement from Sentinel Check.
7. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of services following an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
